Manual pipe benders
Spring pipe benders: Usually used for copper pipes with a small diameter, generally suitable for annealed copper pipes with a diameter of less than 16mm. When in use, the spring is sleeved on the copper pipe that needs to be bent to prevent the copper pipe from being flattened. Then, bend it slowly and smoothly with a relatively large radius. Roller pipe benders: Suitable for copper pipes with a relatively thick diameter. Place the copper pipe in the wheel groove of the pipe bender, lock the pipe clamping hook, and then slowly rotate the handle to bend the copper pipe to the required angle. The bending effect is regular, which can ensure the quality of the bent part and is often used in professional air conditioning installation and maintenance work.
Electric pipe benders: Driven by electricity, the operation is relatively labor-saving. It can achieve the bending of copper pipes with a relatively large diameter. The bending speed is relatively fast, and the accuracy is also high. It is suitable for batch operations or the bending tasks of larger diameter air conditioning copper pipes, and is generally more commonly used in medium-sized air conditioning installation projects.
Hydraulic pipe benders: Provide power through the hydraulic system, which can generate a large bending force. It can bend thicker and heavier copper pipes, and the bending process is stable with less damage to the copper pipes. It is often used in the installation of large-scale air conditioning systems, industrial refrigeration and other fields, and can meet various complex bending requirements.
CNC pipe benders: They have a high degree of automation and accuracy. They can carry out complex bending processing on copper pipes according to the preset program, and can achieve continuous bending at multiple angles and radii. They are suitable for large-scale production and installation projects of air conditioning pipes, which can improve work efficiency and product quality.
Realize the layout of the pipeline route: During the installation of the air conditioning, according to the positions of the indoor and outdoor units, as well as the building structure and other factors, the copper pipes need to be bent so that the pipeline can be laid along a reasonable path, such as bypassing obstacles, running along the corners of walls or ceilings, etc., to achieve the best installation effect.

Select according to the bending accuracy requirements: If the requirements for the bending accuracy of the copper pipe are relatively high, such as in some high-end air conditioning systems or precision refrigeration equipment, CNC pipe benders or electric and hydraulic pipe benders with higher accuracy should be selected; for the installation of general household air conditioners, manual pipe benders can usually meet the accuracy requirements.
Select according to the usage scenarios: In home or small-scale maintenance places, manual pipe benders are more suitable because of their portability and simplicity of operation; in large construction sites, air conditioning production workshops and other places, electric, hydraulic pipe benders or CNC pipe benders can better improve work efficiency and quality.
Annealing treatment of copper pipes: Before bending the copper pipes, for relatively hard copper pipes, especially those with a larger diameter, annealing treatment is usually required to reduce the hardness of the copper pipes and improve their plasticity, preventing cracks or breakages during the bending process.
Select an appropriate bending radius: The curvature radius of the bent part should be greater than five times the diameter of the copper pipe to avoid problems such as dents, cracks or excessive deformation at the bent part, which will affect the performance and service life of the pipeline.
Apply force evenly: When using the pipe bender, whether it is manually, electrically or hydraulically driven, pay attention to applying force evenly and operating slowly. Especially when approaching the required bending angle, control the force and speed well to prevent excessive bending or damage to the copper pipe.
