Maintenance of Automatic Pipe Bending Machine Equipment
We are all aware that pipe bending machines are used to bend metal pipes into the required sizes and angles for processing. Regarding the power composition of pipe bending machines, the total power of a hydraulic pipe bending machine stems from the hydraulic pressure of the hydraulic oil pump. For a servo pipe bending machine, the motor serves to transmit power and is part of the power composition of the automatic pipe bending machine. During the pipe bending process of CNC pipe bending machine (automatic equipment), since devices like clamping jaws need to be controlled by hydraulic oil circuits, if they haven't been cleaned for a long time, problems may arise with the valves and the oil quality. Therefore, regular cleaning and troubleshooting are necessary.
Whether it's a hydraulic pipe bending machine or a CNC pipe bending machine, when bending pipes, considering the different bending angles, we generally limit the bending angle of pipes to 180 degrees. However, in some special cases due to certain original versions, the standard 180° can be further increased by 5°, reaching 190 degrees. But this isn't a common model; the standard models usually have a bending angle of 180 degrees. During the bending process, if the pipe angle exceeds 180°, interference and collision will occur. Hence, the general bending angle usually ranges from 0 to 180 degrees.
Within this range, the angle of the original hardware of the machine may not be accurate and might not reach 180°. This phenomenon can be classified into regular and irregular phenomena. The regular phenomenon occurs when the machine runs for a long time, causing the oil temperature to become too high. As a result, the pressure valve of the machine system fails to lock the hydraulic oil properly, allowing no angle deviation, or due to the failure of the CNC encoder, leading to damage or malfunction for some uncertain reasons. This will affect the accuracy of the angles. Therefore, all pipe bending equipment machines, including the automatic loading and unloading equipment of pipe bending machines, should be well protected during daily use. Moreover, during the installation process, if the size of the hydraulic cylinder isn't checked, the size of the main cylinder may not be in place. Consequently, the stroke won't reach the bending angle, and the bending angle won't reach 180°. Although this situation is rather serious, we must face it correctly.
