The bending radius of the pipe bender for vegetable greenhouses should be designed as "one pipe, one die" and "multiple pipes, one die" as much as possible. For the pipes used in vegetable greenhouses, regardless of the number of bends, there is generally only one bending radius (R), because the bending machine does not exchange modules during the bending process. This is "one pipe, one die". "Using one die for multiple pipe fittings" means that pipes of the same diameter should have the same bending radius. Even when bending pipes of different shapes with the same module, this will help reduce the number of modules.


The main impacts of the bending speed on the forming quality of the greenhouse pipe bender are as follows: If it is too fast, it is easy to form flattened and bent parts of the pipe, and the roundness cannot meet the requirements, resulting in cracking and breaking; when it is too slow, it is easy to cause wrinkling of the pipe and sliding of the compacted module, and for large-diameter pipes, it is easy to cause the sinking of the bent part of the pipe. Based on a large number of experiments carried out on these two CNC pipe benders, the bending speed of the pipe is determined to be 21% - 39.9% of the maximum bending speed of the mandrel (core rod), which mainly plays the role of supporting the inner wall of the pipe to prevent it from deforming during the bending process.

How to Operate the Pipe Bender for Vegetable Greenhouses?


  1. Before operating the pipe bender for vegetable greenhouses, first check whether each lubrication point of the bender is lacking in oil, whether the moving mechanisms are loose, and whether the safety protection devices are reliable. Confirm these first and then operate!

  2. Start the elbow oil pump of the hydraulic workstation. Check whether the system pressure is maintained within the specified range. If it is too high, it will damage the hydraulic components and waste electricity; if it is too low, it will affect the work.

  3. Adjust the position and angle of the parts.

  4. Adjust the position of the machine parts to the required length.

  5. Adjust the vertical lifting guide device so that the guide die can clamp the iron pipe before the pressing cylinder operates.

  6. The clamping cylinder can clamp the iron pipe.

  7. During normal operation, place the workpiece into the bending die with the front end in contact with the positioning. Press the foot switch to gradually lower it, and the bending can be completed.

  8. When operating the pipe bender, please concentrate. Do not put your hands or other items into the working area. In case of an emergency, press the emergency stop button, then turn the turning switch to the manual position, perform manual reset, and report the malfunction in a timely manner.

  9. After work, cut off the power supply and do a good job of cleaning and lubricating.
